Sabine was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. Since early childhood she was painting and sculpting while getting educated in art and art history. Later in her professional life she worked in cartography, marketing, advertisement, and graphic design with clients across Germany.

In her mid-thirties she moved with her family to Houston, Texas through their affiliation with NASA. She enrolled in the Glassel School at the Museum of Fine Arts to study collages and assemblages, where she began to present her art work. While living in Clear Lake, she sat on the advisory board at the Arts Alliance Center, worked as a curator at the Freeman Library, and developed art projects and exhibitions within the community.

Since then, her artwork has been exhibited in numerous art galleries and can be seen in both private collections and public spaces within the United States, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy. Currently Sabine’s work is represented by Thornwood Gallery in Houston and Santa Fe.
