Sabine was born in East Berlin, in the former GDR.  She fled the Soviet-controlled part of Germany. After having settled in Cologne, West Germany she enrolled as a student in The Advertising Academy in Cologne, where she graduated with honors and won acclaim for the development of an image campaign for a major German corporation. While working for a marketing and advertising agency in Cologne, Sabine was intrigued by modern graphic design. During this major influential time of her life, she was able to travel and explore the world and its many splendors of color and culture.

In 1999, she and her family moved to Houston, Texas, due to their affiliation with the NASA space program. She enrolled in the Glassel School of the Museum of Fine Arts to study Collages and Assemblages.  While living in the Clear Lake area, she joined the Advisory Board at The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake (TAACCL), worked as a curator at the Freeman Library, Houston and developed art projects and exhibitions with children.

Her artwork has been exhibited in various art galleries and can be seen in numerous private collections and public spaces within the United States, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Cayman Islands and Italy. Currently Sabine’s work is represented by Thornwood Gallery (Houston, Texas, USA.) and show rooms in Cayman Islands and Colorado.
